Research, presentations and media appearances:
Living with autoimmune illness shouldn't mean spending your life preparing for the next flare, pushing through pain and putting yourself last.
Learn another way to navigate the uncertainty of chronic illness, care for your body and make room for the life you want to live.
You can look like you're coping while quietly fearing what comes next.
But there's a reason coping can still leave you feeling exhausted and disconnected from yourself. It's not only about managing symptoms, but understanding the patterns shaping how you respond.
IÂ understand because I've lived what you've been carrying...
“I can't even say yes to something next week because I don't know how I'll feel.”
You want to look forward to a weekend away, a family celebration or simply dinner with friends. Instead, you're calculating the pain, the energy it might take and how you'll cope if your body changes its mind.
Inside The Relational Healing Framework™:
We explore what uncertainty brings up for you and develop practical ways to respond to the fear of future flares, so you can make decisions with more self-trust without needing guarantees from your body.
“If I say no again, I'm afraid they'll eventually stop asking me.”
You're already disappointed about missing out. But you're also imagining their disappointment, wondering whether they'll believe you and worrying that one more cancellation could change how they see you.
Inside The Relational Healing Framework™:
We gently explore why disappointing others feels so difficult and practise boundaries that make room for your relationships and your health, without asking you to sacrifice one to protect the other.
“The moment I feel a little better, I start catching up on everything.”
The laundry, the emails, the shopping, the things you couldn't manage yesterday. By the time you finally sit down, the energy you were so relieved to have has gone. And you still feel there is more you should have done.
Inside The Relational Healing Framework™:
Using personalised yoga therapy, pacing and compassionate enquiry, we work with the pressure to make every good day productive and practise recognising your needs before exhaustion becomes the only reason you're allowed to stop.
“I come away from appointments feeling like I still haven't explained what's happening to me.”
You've rehearsed your symptoms, tried to remember everything and worried about being taken seriously. You leave with a medical plan, perhaps, but still carrying the fear, frustration and questions that didn't fit into the appointment.
Inside The Relational Healing Framework™:
We make space for the parts of your experience that medical appointments may not have time to address, helping you understand your emotional responses, reconnect with your own observations and approach your ongoing healthcare with greater clarity.
“I miss the woman I was before everything became about what my body can manage.”
You remember saying yes without calculating the consequences. Now you choose the essentials, turn down things you once loved and sometimes wonder whether you'll ever feel like yourself again.
Inside The Relational Healing Framework™:
We give space to the grief of what has changed while exploring what still matters to you. Through the Come Home to Yourself stage, we work towards rebuilding a sense of identity and choice that isn't defined entirely by illness.
“I've done the therapy, read books and learnt the techniques. Why do I still react this way?”
You know you need rest, yet feel guilty taking it. You understand boundaries, yet still say yes. You can recognise your anxiety, but that doesn't always stop your mind racing when symptoms change.
Inside The Relational Healing Framework™:
We bring understanding into everyday life through yoga psychology, compassionate enquiry and tailored body-based practices. Rather than giving you more information, we work on what makes it difficult to respond differently when those familiar patterns arise.
Don't just take my word for it. Hear from women who've been where you are.
Real experiences from women who've worked with me to navigate pain, anxiety and emotional challenges of chronic illness.Â
What's inside The Relational Healing Framework™?
10 personalised, one-to-one yoga therapy sessions where we work together to understand what's happening beneath your pain and anxiety, explore the patterns affecting your wellbeing and develop practical ways to care for yourself while living with an unpredictable illness.
What we'll work on together:
Â
-
Understand your pain, anxiety and fear of future flares, including how uncertainty affects your decisions, relationships and everyday life.
-
Make sense of why rest brings guilt, why you feel responsible for everyone and why it's difficult to put your needs first.
-
Recognise the patterns that keep you overextending, even when your body is asking you to slow down.
-
Learn practical ways to respond to flare-ups and anxiety using personalised yoga therapy, breathwork, mindful movement and yoga psychology.
-
Receive practices adapted to your changing capacity, so your care works with your body rather than demanding more from it.
-
Explore boundaries and relationships without abandoning yourself, including how to express your needs without constantly fearing disappointment or rejection.
-
Rebuild trust in yourself and reconnect with what matters, so uncertainty doesn't have to make every decision about your future.
Your journey through The Relational Healing Framework™
Four connected stages, personalised to your experiences, needs and changing capacity.
Stage 1
Make Sense of It
Understand what's happening to you, beyond the symptoms.
We begin by making space for the parts of living with autoimmune illness that often go unspoken.
-
Your experience of pain, fatigue and anxiety
-
The fear of another flare and uncertainty about tomorrow
-
How illness is affecting your relationships and everyday life
What we work towards: Understanding your experience with greater clarity and compassion, rather than feeling constantly at war with yourself.
Stage 2
See What's Driving It
Understand why you keep putting yourself last, even when you know you need care.
Together, we explore the emotional and relational patterns that can make living with illness even harder.
-
Feeling guilty when you rest or cancel plans
-
Saying yes because you're afraid of disappointing others
-
Feeling responsible for everyone while struggling yourself
What we work towards: Recognising these patterns and beginning to respond to your needs without the same pressure, guilt or self-judgement.
Stage 3
Work With Your Body
Learn ways to care for your body when it doesn't feel predictable.
Using the tools of yoga therapy, we develop personalised practices that meet you where you are.
-
Breathwork, mindful movement and body awareness
-
Compassionate ways to respond to pain and anxiety
-
Practices adapted to your symptoms, energy and changing capacity
What we work towards: Feeling better equipped to support yourself on difficult days without forcing your body beyond what it can manage.
Stage 4
Come Home to Yourself
Make room for the woman you are, beyond your illness.
This stage focuses on bringing what you've learnt into your relationships, decisions and everyday life.
-
Expressing your needs and setting compassionate boundaries
-
Reconnecting with your values, identity and relationships
-
Rebuilding trust in yourself when the future remains uncertain
What we work towards: Making choices that honour your health and the life you want to live, without constantly abandoning yourself.
You don't have to wait until your illness settles to begin living on your own terms.
The Relational Healing Framework™ offers personalised, compassionate yoga therapy for women who want to understand their experience, navigate uncertainty and rebuild trust in themselves.
This isn't about promising a life without pain or flares. It's about helping you care for yourself, make choices that honour your needs and stay connected to what matters, even when your health is unpredictable.
This is for you if...
-
You're tired of worrying about how your body will feel tomorrow.
-
You feel guilty resting, cancelling plans or disappointing others.
-
You keep pushing through, even when your body needs care.

You've tried everything, yet still struggle with pain, anxiety and uncertainty.
-
You want to feel like yourself again, beyond your illness.
A little about the woman behind the work
I'm Vidhi Sadana
I've lived with autoimmune illness for over 25 years. I know what it's like to wake up wondering what your body will allow that day, to keep showing up for the people you love, and to struggle with giving yourself the same care.
I'm also a Consultant Yoga Therapist and researcher with over 15 years of experience. My NHS research and my own journey have shaped how I work today — combining yoga psychology, compassionate body-based practices and Western psychological approaches.
I created The Relational Healing Framework™ because I believe caring for your illness shouldn't mean losing sight of the woman living with it.
"Through gentle exercises for the body and mind I learnt to relax and let my body heal itself… Six visits later I feel much better, and I am optimistic about my life and my health."
- Amanda Holloway
"Yoga therapy is so much more than yoga… it is also emotional. Learning different methods helped my emotional wellbeing, which led to physical healing."
-Ibolya Nemeth
"Vidhi helped me deal with pain and gave me methods to do it. I feel now I am stronger."
